Description

PMR are seeking a Finance Director working on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing BTR residential operator specialising in the BTR sector, we are seeking an experienced finance leader to help continue their impressive expansion.

Over the last two years they have doubled in scale and will reach over £30m turnover by the end of this year. With a healthy pipeline in place, this pace of growth is likely to continue over the coming years. Alongside the Operations Director, Marketing Director and Director of Origination, this position will be a key member of the company leadership team.

In addition to supporting business growth, key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the finance function, developing it in to a 'best in class' team with the ability to provide support to key stakeholders that will track performance against targets.
  • Producing timely and accurate management accounts to establish performance of the company.
  • Oversight of all monthly reporting for the residential asset portfolio, meeting with clients alongside other members of the leadership team.
  • Review and present all annual budgets for the portfolio, ensuring all is produced in accordance with lease and management agreements.
  • Develop systems, process and procedure to allow the company to be fit for growth in the coming years.
  • Manage the overall finance function and Client Accounting services.
  • Ensure all tax affairs of the company are aligned with legal compliance.

This role will be tasked with supporting the execution of the wider business vision ensuring the company is able to offer value for money whilst maintaining a lean cost structure utilising technology, automation, and accounting process.
For this position, our client is looking for somebody with the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified accountant with significant PQE experience with the UK real estate sector.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience working alongside senior Directors in previous positions.
  • Success in previously implementing accounting systems and process to improve efficiency.
  • Exposure within previous roles managing within a growing and fast-moving environment.
  • Commercial awareness as well as sharp financial acumen is essential for this position.

Position offers hybrid flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week
