Maintenance Operative

PMR are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join a well established provider of Build to Rent homes in Hammersmith!

OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Operative's role is to ensure all areas in and around the building are compliant, well maintained, run efficiently and to the highest standard of cleanliness. They ensure resident, staff and contractors' safety is always considered.

The responsibilities of this post include:

• Assist with the general upkeep ofthe property (ad hoc cleaning, bin rotations and collections, external litter picking, etc.)
• To investigate and report any issuesto the General Manager so that the property runs efficiently and any disruption to the residents is kept to a minimum.
• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day management ofreactive and preventative maintenance.
• Carry out regular Health & Safety checksin the building; including emergency lighting checks, fire extinguisher checks etc.
• Daily building walks to identify Health and Safety risks, reporting these to the General Manager and assisting in completing all resultant actions.
• Assist with pre-move in checks and apartment inspections.
• Assist with keeping records, logs and monitoring any maintenance issues that may arise within the property.
• Oversee apartment end of tenancy turnarounds; assisting with redecorating apartments and communal areas as required.
• Assisting with the coordination of third-party contractorsto ensure completion of work and adherence to site health and safety procedures.
• To ensure all areas in and around the building are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness
• * Support members of the team by answering questions and offering guidance.
