Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their team as an Assistant Property Manager This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career in the property management industry, gaining valuable experience and knowledge while working in a supportive and dynamic office environment. As an Assistant Property Managerm you will play a crucial role in assisting the management team for a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the smooth running of the portfolio.
The Role:
- Assist with the day-to-day management of residential and commercial properties.
- Maintain regular communication with property owners, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to tenant queries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee property repairs and maintenance activities, liaising with contractors and suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of service charge budgets, managing income and expenditure, and monitoring arrears.
- Collaborate with the accounts team to process invoices and reconcile financial transactions.
- Prepare reports, including property status updates, maintenance schedules, and financial statements.
- Support to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, actively seeking opportunities for professional development.
The Person:
- Proactive and highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to tenants and property owners.
- Ability to empathize with others and resolve their concerns promptly and professionally.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
