PMR is working with a large residential scheme based in West London who are looking to employ an Assistant Estate Manager to join the team, you will be assisting in running the daily operations on the development and reporting directly to the Estate Manager on site.
Salary: £37,000 pa
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Duties:
- Responsible for supporting the Estate Manager to ensure all Health and Safety Compliance processes and procedures are implemented in line with Company Policy.
- Support the Estate Manager with the management and development of site staff in the site-based team, ensuring that they are recruited, motivated and trained to achieve the necessary levels of skills and that they operate to the appropriate service standards and procedures.
- Ensuring the development is walked and visually inspected on a daily basis and to take responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness and safety of all the public areas.
- Report any health & safety, communal/building defect from site inspections
- Ensuring the development is formally inspected and reported on utilizing site inspection software.
- Daily / Weekly feedback discussion on site issues with the Estate Manager.
- Support the Estate Manager in the Management of the site petty cash expenditure on site and complete summary expenditure forms to submit to Purchase Ledger Department.
- Arranging rosters/holiday cover for site team and in conjunction with Estate Manager.
- Delegate responsibility for non-urgent/specific tasks to site cleaner caretakers.
- On-site training and induction for new staff.
- Ensure relevant and appropriate equipment is available for use, is maintained and replaced as necessary in conjunction with The Facilities Manager.
- Carry out regular inspections on the performance of the cleaning staff and caretakers.
- Maintain an accurate schedule for the team to follow to ensure all tasks are carried out.
- To be fully conversant with all of the site manuals, operating procedures, and operation of the communal M&E items;
- To refer to the Estate Manager any omissions relating to the M&E documentation or OEM manuals.
