Role: Head of Block Management
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Block Management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our portfolio of high-end blocks of flats, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. Working remotely, you will have the flexibility to manage your workload while upholding our company's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team who provide services to a portfolio of high-end blocks of flats, ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of property managers and administrators, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting for each property, ensuring adherence to financial goals and objectives.
- Implement and maintain property management best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess maintenance needs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers to deliver high-quality services and repairs within established timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and regulations related to block management, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities for business growth, secure new clients, and enhance our service offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in block management, preferably within a high-end residential environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Solid understanding of property management principles, including health and safety regulations, financial management, and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing block management.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Professional qualifications in block management (e.g., IRPM, ARMA) are highly desirable.
