Maintenance Operative, Luxury Residential - Zone 4

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative to work at a site based in West London, Underground Zone 4.

Role: Maintenance Operative

Location: UB Postcode, West London

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm

Salary: £26-27,000 pa

Start Date: ASAP

Aim of Post

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Maintenance Operative will have a practical role to ensure the upkeep of the building is executed to an excellent standard. They will assist the Caretaker on site with their day to day duties, in addition to being responsible for site compliance checks.

Candidates will need a great eye for detail, be professional and friendly, and ensure that the development is maintained at all times.

Caretaker Duties:

• Patrolling site for inspection
• Collecting litter and waste
• Leaf blowing, ensuring pathways and green spaces are clear
• Emptying garden bins as and when needed

Testing Duties:

• H&S assessment
• Fire Safety checks

Maintenance Duties:

• Ad Hoc repair jobs i.e. painting fixes, lightbulb changes, minor repairs

Candidate Requirements & Preferences:

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Previous experience in a similar role within hotels or residential developments

• Proactive, can do attitude - can take initiative where needed

• Health & Safety awareness or qualification

• Experience in dealing with plumbing, carpentry or electrics is beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Outlook/Word
