The Role - Spa Butler

The shift Pattern is 10:00 - 19:00 5 Days on 2 Days off (subject to alteration during present time)

Reporting to: Head Concierge / General Manager

The Property:

A collection of beautifully crafted residences located at one of London's most prestigious addresses. With a 24-hour team on site, the vision is for all residents to receive the ultimate in high end bespoke service befitting to their lifestyle requirements and surroundings.

The Responsibilities:

The Spa Butler will be responsible for the following duties:

• Welcoming Residents and Guests accessing the Spa and Fitness areas and looking after their safety and comfort.
• Offering them refreshments and assisting them with any requests or queries.
• Organizing all bookings for the treatment rooms
• Booking external specialists as residents require, including personal trainers, beauticians, therapists and hairdressers.
• Ensure all treatment rooms have been prepared in advance and cleaned immediately after use.
• Keeping a stock check of all spa supplies (hand wash, hand cream, shampoo, conditioner, body wash as well as teas, coffees, fresh fruit etc.) and re-ordering
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the changing rooms, communal spa areas, reception and Fitness areas
• Ensuring the spa is kept immaculate to a 5-star standard.
• Take orders, make and serve drinks to residents as required.
• Supervise and oversee that proper housekeeping is maintained throughout the Spa and the fitness areas (whilst occupancy remains low, the Spa Butler will also assume the overall cleaning of the Gym/Spa areas, with assistance as required).
• Check pool chlorination and temperature levels throughout the day.
• Ensure the spa and Fitness are continually compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with policies, procedures and standards
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials
• Assist with general administrative duties.
• Perform monthly inventory and make sure it is accurate

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, be available at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.

Language:

• Required to speak, read and write English. Additional language is an asset

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' spa supervision experience in a luxury spa environment, preferably within a luxury hotel.
• A background in fitness education and/or health related discipline is an asset.
