- Description
We are working on behalf of a Block Management company based in North London, responsible for the management of residential and properties across London. We are currently seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team and manage all aspects of credit control.
The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Chasing overdue debts and managing customer accounts
- Liaising with customers via phone and email to resolve payment issues
- Reconciling customer accounts and producing financial reports
- Managing the credit control database and ensuring accuracy of information
- Performing credit checks on new and existing customers
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure effective cash flow management for service charge
- Working with the litigation team on issuing court action
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- At least 2 years' experience in credit control or a related field
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment within the office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Able to read a lease
- A track record of working in the property management or real estate sector would be advantageous
The Package:
Based on experience this role is paying £40,000 -£45,000 as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career growth within the company.
