The Role
Based in London, within the Property Management Department, this role will be responsible for supporting the Director of Property Management with the development and growth of a new team, with a focus on our high-net-worth clients and financial growth.
Client facing will be key. Building new relationships with incoming clients but also developing and nurturing the current relationships with existing high value clients. Working as part of a friendly team you will take the lead role with the main responsibility being the management of a team of 8 staff - Property Managers and Assistant Managers.
You will have overall operational responsibility for a significant region and portfolio, coaching team members, recruitment, client liaison, dealing with escalation points and complaints within the portfolio. The role is all about managing people, the team and the clients.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in block management together with a history of successfully managing a team. Ideally you will be MIRPM qualified and looking for a firm where you can progress your career into Senior Management.
The challenge will be to drive the profitability of the portfolio through growth, mobilisation, operational excellence, exceptional customer service, financial control and the mentoring and development of young professionals in your team.
With the support of your Director of Property Management, the aim will be to provide engaging leadership to ensure your team are motivated to accurately identify our customers' needs and to supply the highest standard of customer service.
In order to grow the business further, you will need to work in partnership with the Business Development Team, help identify commercial opportunities and seek to develop new as well as foster existing customer relationships.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant property management experience - minimum 5 years
- Drive and ambition
- A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car for business use
- Good knowledge of service charge budget formulation
- Good knowledge of service charge and Company accounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
- An ability to deal with challenging people and handle conflicting opinions
- Organised and methodical
- An ability to multi-task and possess strong prioritisation skills
- Can demonstrate high customer focus and time management skills
- IRPM II qualified (MIRPM)
Bonus / Superhero Skills:
- Previous working experience/knowledge of QUBE
- Previous management experience.
Salary Range & Benefits:
Paying £70-80k depending on experience.
