Our client is looking for an experienced Porter/Caretaker to join their team at a luxury residential development based in Kensington, London SW5.
Hours are: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8am - 1pm (5 hours per day, 15 hours per week)
Temp to perm (starts on £9.50ph + holiday pay - will be increased to £7,800pa/£10ph once permanent, if successful)
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Assist the onsite Porter with day-to-day issues raised by residents by various means face to face, email and phone.
-Grounds maintenance such as sweeping of courtyard/basement and all other external areas.
-Assist residents and their visitors where appropriate, always showing courtesy and care.
-Watering flowerbeds and lawned areas as required during Summer months.
-Be aware of security issues and keep an eye open at all times for doors that are not securely locked; regularly check closing mechanisms on doors.
-Check light bulbs (daily), both indoors and outdoors, and replace when required.
-Maintain the bin area in a tidy condition. Report to the porter if bin area is being mis-used.
-Regular patrols of the internal areas, carrying any rubbish left out by the residents down to the bin store.
-Being flexible when issues warrant being on site early or late, beyond the normal working hours.Person Specification:
