PMR have been instruct to support an established high end block management company with their business expansion. The leaders within this business are focused on providing a positive working environment and support to their team. Understanding the pressure points of our industry and provide their staff with a different approach.

You will provide the resources to further your career, ensuring you are fully trained and supported within residential block management.

This business offers our clients bespoke property management services for our largely residential block management The portfolio. approx. 12-15 sites totalling 500 units. Therefore your role will require an all-round knowledge of the management process from budgeting and fund management to the administration of service contracts and reacting to day-to-day maintenance matters.

This is not a desk bound role. Whilst you will be office based (this firm operates a hybrid working regime involving part home-working and part office-working), your role will involve travelling to the sites to carry out inspections, meeting customers and contractors. Most of the sites are within walking distance of the office.

The role

  • Preparing annual service charge budgets
  • Instructing contractors for maintenance work
  • Making regular inspections of your portfolio of blocks
  • Dealing with insurance claims and associated works
  • Checking compliance with and/or enforcement of lease terms and statutory requirements
  • Liaising with resident directors, lessees, residents and contractors
  • Liaising with surveyors re. major works (Section 20)
  • Attending residents' meetings, board meetings and AGMs - time provided in lieu for evening meetings

The person

  • 5 years experience as a Property Manager
  • Self-motivated towards their work.
  • Ability to communicate with Leaseholders and Clients clearly
  • A person with a keen interest in property with a proactive approach to resolving problems.
  • A knowledge of some Landlord & Tenant legislation is a benefit.
  • The Candidate must have excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and time manager
