We are currently recruiting for Fire Marshals for a residential development based in Suffolk - Ipswich.
We will also be providing free Fire Warden at Work and Fire Safety Training Course to the successful applicants.
This role primarily involves:
- Patrolling the development to identify any breaches in health and safety/fire safety and resolve where possible
- Reporting any health and fire safety related issues or concerns to management
- Enforcing lease rules relating to fire safety and ensuring compliance from residents
- Patrolling the development to identify any signs of fire and fire hazards
- Calling the emergency services if a fire is identified
- Raising the alarm with residents and coordinating the evacuation of the affected area in the event of a fire
- Keeping accurate records and reports of faults relating to fire safety systems, equipment and incidents
The successful applicant must have:
- Previous experience in face to face customer service such as security, events stewarding, front of house/meet and greet or hospitality positions ONLY
- Exceptional written and spoken English Language Skills
- Exceptional communication skills (explaining, negotiating, reasoning)
- Professional attitude and conduct
- Reliable and punctual
- Polite, courteous, respectful
- Willing and helpful
- Good customer service skills
- A calm and diplomatic approach

Job Type: Temporary contract - Due to last a minimum of 8 weeks - Potentially longer!
Salary: Up to £9.20 per hour + Holiday Pay
Schedule:
- 12 hour shifts
- Day or Night Shifts
- 4 on / 4 off
- Occasional weekends
