Property Manager JD
We are looking for a client-focused, experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our central London based property management team. You would be responsible for the management of a varied portfolio of (mainly residential) buildings. The portfolio is a very manageable size and an interesting mix of new build and period properties for a range of clients from developers to RMC's and Family Offices.
The role will report into our Head of Property Management and be also responsible for the management of a small number of on-site staff. There is an Assistant Property Manager to offer admin support. It is vital that the successful individual is able to build strong and effective relationships with our valued clients. There is a mixture of home and office working.

Attributes
We are looking for a pro-active, organised and team-minded individual with good communication skills who is able to cope with pressure and to form effective relationships with clients and contractors. You should have:
- Knowledge of relevant industry legislation, guidelines and procedures and an understanding of best practice
- Strong communication skills
- Management experience with a track record of working effectively in teams
- Enthusiasm
- Experience of using property management software
- Good IT skills including Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Management of On-Site Staff
- Set up of new buildings
- Attendance at client meetings
- Oversight of day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance
- Management of major works
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Management of data and information
- Dealing with tenant enquiries and tenant communication
- Production of service charge budgets for approval
- Management of expenditure against budget
- Site inspections
- Management of insurance claims
Hours & Benefits
- 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Experience & Training
You should have had several years' experience of residential and/ or commercial property management and have managed your own portfolio of buildings. Training will be provided as appropriate to the role.
Advantageous Qualifications
- IRPM Membership
- Property related degree or similar
- AssocRICS or RICS membership
Salary
£40,000 - £50,000 based on experience
