Our Client is looking for a Temp Day Concierge to work at a Luxury Development in Reading.
Hours: 4 days on 4 days off Rota (07:00-19:00)
Duties and responsibilities:
- Parcel collection and distribution.
- Deliver excellent customer service to all, adopting a 'nothing is too much' attitude at all times.
- Greet all in a professional and couteous manner in accordance with the company standards.
- Aid and engage with all guests/resident's and collegues within the premises.
- Always act as an ambassador for the company.
- Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and timely manner.
- Ensure all guests/residents receive a full conceirge service throughout their stay.
- Assist and support all guests/ residents by quickly responding to lifestyle requests for restaurants, flights and event tickets.
- To be able to provide an alternative to guests including day activites and tickets for any attractions.
- Process Luggage and delivery requests accurately and be responsible of the safekeeping of items ,left in the care of the company.
- Carry out regular building checks and log/report any maintanance that is required through the correct channels.
- Adhere to health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures. Report anything which causes concern to staff or clients to the appropriate authority.
- Create and prepare standard letters, circulars and other corresponance using Microsoft Office applications, portal and Property Management Systems.
- Key handling and distribution.
Personal Specification:
- Very Smart and well presented.
- Luxury/lifestyle hospitality background.
- Experience in a hotel concierge desk.
- Extensive knowledge of London, its attractions, venues and infrustructure.
- Reliable and timekeeping.
- Fun, friendly and out-going personality.
- Ability to create professional relationships externally and internally with guests, residents and collegues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Must be IT Literate.
