Description

This role is within a a forward-thinking, customer-focused managing agent providing professional property management services nationwide. The portfolios of properties for residential and commercial landlords.

Role Type: Full time, permanent

Location: Birmingham

Salary range: £30,000-£32,000k

Hours: 9.00am-5.30pm, Monday-Friday

Job description

To work within the Service Charge team to provide high-quality financial management services to properties within our portfolio, ensuring professional management and excellent customer service is delivered to both clients and customers.

* Assist Property Managers with the financial management of their portfolio

* Preparation of year end accounts

* Liaising with external auditors, dealing with queries, finalising accounts and updating the system

* Liaising and meeting with property managers, directors, clients, customers, supply partners, previous agents and external accountants as required

* Distribution of final accounts in a timely manner

* Uploading budgets prepared by Property Managers, creating charges, invoices and statements of anticipated service charge

* Preparation of Section 20B Notices where applicable

* Reconciling service charge year end accounts to client statements when required

* Liaising with clients regarding void recharges

* Preparation of management reports on a monthly or quarterly basis

* Preparing and issuing customer invoices within agreed timescales

* Responding promptly to routine correspondence in a friendly and professional manner

* Assist with general administration duties such as transfer of funds, updating customer records etc.

* Assisting with Credit Control as necessary Other

* Attend and contribute to team, department and business meetings

* Contribute business-wide initiatives as required

* Any other duties commensurate with the nature of the post

* This is not exhaustive and will be reviewed periodically when adjustments may be made
