Our client is looking for a Concierge / Secuirty officer to join the team at a Luxury Residential Development in E1.
Working Hours: 6am - 6pm (4 on 4 off)
Duties:
- Ensure that development is managed in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensuring that the development remains secure and maintained to a high-quality standard.
- Provide the best possible service to the development and its clients and to liaise closely with management, in particular the Development Manager, in order to follow through tasks assigned to Security team.
- Always maintain a clean and smart appearance, wearing the team uniform.
- Ensure that the highest levels of customer care and service are always maintained.
- Deal effectively with complaints, follow the procedures, and remain courteous at all times.
- Serve residents to ensure that a pro-active maintenance and general level of day-to-day effectiveness is achieved.
- Assist the concierge with deliveries to main reception desk, receiving and safekeeping of all parcels/registered mail. Correct issuing of all parcels/registered mail with a record which must be signed by residents.
- Receive and Issue keys only to/from correct personnel/residents whilst recording at all times the signing in and out of keys.
- Ensure effective security of residents and the building at all times including monitoring and reviewing of CCTV and aid the smooth running of car parking facilities.
- Check and screen all visitors and guests and any contractors, ensuring they have permission to be present in the building. Report any suspicious/unusual behaviour, calling the police if necessary.
- Assist the management team to monitor the performance of regular routine contractors (e.g., grounds maintenance, communal area cleaning, window cleaners, etc).
- Undertake regular patrols.
- Minimise potential security threats by encouraging discipline regarding the locking of main entrance doors and windows to each block.
- Maintain vigilance as to who is frequenting the development and identify and disrupt (as directed) those who are identified as non-resident, especially in circumstances where short letting is suspected. Report instances to your line manager.
- Undertake to keep records of daily occurrences within the duty occurrence book ("DOR") to record times of inspections of the scheme, attendance by third parties, wants of repair and any other matter which happen during each day
- Be able to give a clear and concise handover at the end of the shift, highlighting any events that have occurred and forthcoming events.
- Always ensure that a responsive and attentive approach is taken when dealing with the residents.
- Advise the Development Manager of any issues regarding breaches of the lease including statutory legislation and best practice compliance. To also liaise with residents concerning general requests, queries or nuisances being advised and actively look into resolving proactively in the absence of the Development Manager or by bringing the matter directly to his/her attention.
- Be prepared to accept and undertake additional training to further develop personal skills, thereby increasing awareness of residential property management including site-based risks, effective communications, and exceptional levels of customer service.
- Undertake other general duties as required from time to time commensurate with the management of residential property in accordance with industry best practice.
- Present a professional, positive, and friendly approach to the company's external contacts.
Requirements:
- Essential - SIA Door Supervisor license.
- Desirable - SIA CCTV operator license.
- Experience in high end residential or hotels.
- Excellent customer service.
- Clear communication skills including interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to show good judgement and common sense.
- Demonstrate the ability to work calmly and professionally when under pressure.
- Basic computer skills - some experience in utilising Microsoft office software required.
