PMR is pleased to be working with a leading provider of purpose built student accommodation for the recruitment of an Accommodation Manager in Canterbury.
The Accommodation Manager will manage the day to day operations of the development with the highest safety in mind whilst, ensuring a first class residential and customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- To take the lead role in the management of the residence, ensuring the property is managed and operated in line with agreed operating principles
- To ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards and operated in full compliance of all appropriate legislation and industry standards
- To liaise with and work collaboratively with colleagues in the college to ensure the highest level of collaboration across the facility
- Ensure that all statutory requirements in terms of Health and Safety are implemented, monitored and recorded
- Respond to emergencies both during and out of working hours
- To recruit, train, manage, motivate and develop staff, residence assistants and contractors
- Ensure the highest possible standards of student safety and welfare
- To promote a vibrant community across the facility

Essential skills/ experience
- Experience in customer service, hospitality or student accommodation, ideally in an accommodation-related area
- Experience in facilities management
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of working to agreed budgets
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Working Pattern:
- 9am-6pm
- Mon - Fri
