- Description
PMR are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a brand-new Build to Rent development in West London. To assist the site team in delivering the best experience for residents by completing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance works. This is a static role within a high-end residential development.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Communicate effectively and courteously with residents and colleagues, clearly understanding and responding to their needs
- Demonstrate initiative in responding to maintenance issues, liaising effectively with the site team
- Assisting with management of third-party contractors to ensure completing of works
- Contribute to customer satisfaction with the brand
General Maintenance
- Assist with the day-to-day management of reactive and preventative maintenance works
- Assist with defect management and attend repairs wherever required
- Undertake regular Health & Safety checks in building services plant rooms, in the flats and the communal areas
- Assist with flat turn arounds and undertake redecorating rooms and communal areas
- Carry out regular building patrols to identify any maintenance or health and safety issues
- Keep good record of job logs and complete jobs in timely manner
- Assist with PPMs on basic mechanical and electrical systems as well as minor plumbing works, so that buildings are safe for both our residents and our employees
- Adhere to our operating processes, business systems and standards
- Contribute and support the growth of team culture, working in line with brand values and encouraging others to do the same
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- At least 2-years domestic plumbing/general maintenance experience
- Ideally previous experience in mobilization/opening of a new site
- Demonstrable experience of effective communication both orally and in writing
- Electrical qualification would be an advantage
Working Pattern:
- 08:30-17:30, Monday to Friday.
