Our client is seeking a live-in Porter to join their team based in a luxury residential building in Kingston Upon Thames
Main Purpose of Job: The safety and security of the residents and building at all times. Supervision and maintenance of the estate and property
Hours - Monday - Friday 8am until 4pm
Salary - £28,000 per annumRelationships:
- Responsible to the Managing Agents
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and cleaning staff
- Liaison with the Managing Agents, contractors, and cleaning staff
Main tasks of job:
- To supervise cleaning operatives and other contractors
- Provide access to contractors and third-party companies when required
- To liaise with car parking operatives and day to day management of car parking areas and bicycle store
- Co-ordinating deliveries from contractors
- To give general assistance to residents when required
- To instruct contractors to carry out minor repairs and advise the Managing Agents of more serious works requiring attention
- Ensure accurate completion of inspection reports
- Maintain health and safety records and testing as required e.g emergency lighting tests
