Our Client are currently looking for an experienced Day Concierge to join their team at a luxury residential development based in East London.
Working 4 on 4 off with the hours of 7am - 7pm.
Salary is £25,000 annually
Duties include but are not limited to:
To be present at the Concierge/Reception Desk to assist residents, visitors and colleagues as and when requested.
To ensure all residents and visitors receive a warm and sincere welcome including assistance with luggage and shopping where required.
Ensure that the highest levels of customer care and service are maintained at all times.
Taking ownership in the dealing of daily requested tasks, complaints, queries and direct requests
Deal effectively with complaints, take the correct action and remain courteous at all times.
To check and screen all visitors, ensuring that they have permission to be present in the building. Report any suspicious/unusual behaviour, calling the police if necessary.
To check and screen all contractor staff, ensuring that they have permission to be present in the building. Creating and adhering to the contractor permit to work system.
To carefully control the issuing of keys to apartments. Ensuring that permission waivers are updated, and that authorisation has been provided for all key releases
To maintain the security of the building at all times, e.g. carry out regular patrols of the entire building, monitoring of CCTV, dealing with any disturbances and reporting any faultsand/or security breaches found to the Property Manager.
Answering the telephone in a polite, timely and courteous manner.
Responding to all emails to the Concierge email account in a polite, timely and courteous manner.
Providing a professional record appointments schedule for any private bookings in relation to shared facilities such as (but not exhaustive), meeting rooms, function suites cinemas etc
To understand and follow call out processes for out of hours emergencies, e.g. dealing with faults and failure to equipment, dealing with leaks , lift entrapments.
To be fully conversant with the fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures.
Accepting and processing incoming deliveries and post ensuring the resident notification process is complied with.
To comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures including those relating to Health & Safety, data protection and those contained within the issued Employee Handbook.
To be able to give a clear and concise handover at the end of the shift, highlighting any events that have occurred and forthcoming events.
Utilizing all residents Portal, APPS and communications systems
Maintain a clean and smart appearance at all times, wearing either the staff uniform or a suit.
Assist the Property Manager and Managing Agent staff with all other reasonable duties as requested
