Handyman / Caretaker

PMR are seeking an enthusiastic Handyman / Caretaker to join a Build to Rent provider in one of their developments in Maidenhead.

The role is to work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, offering a £25,000 annual salary.

The Handyman / Caretaker is required to undertake the following tasks as directed by the Residents Services Manager, using the prescribed methods and frequencies in line with the requirements of the cleaning and operational specification:

- Assist in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all of those in the building and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Keep the common parts and amenity areas of the property clean and tidy and vacuuming and mopping as needed including cleaning toilets, kitchens areas and communal lounges
- Carry out end of tenancy cleans and/or sparkles as needed
- Ensure the bin store and car park are tidy, clean, and well managed
- Carry out reactive maintenance jobs as directed by the RSM
- Turnover apartments with the RSM and decorate as necessary
- Carry out weekly, monthly, and quarterly PPM building checks as needed
- To ensure all areas in and around the building are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness
- To ensure that residents receive an excellent level of customer service, and that the property is kept and maintained to the highest standards
- To investigate and report any issues to the Residents Team Manager so that the property runs efficiently and any disruption to the residents is kept to a minimum
- To turnover apartments from a maintenance perspective, carrying our decoration and other works as needed
- To act as a second point of contact out of hours with the RSM
- To liaise with contractors on site and assist where necessary
