- Description
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Estate Operative for a luxury residential building based in North West London.
Shift Pattern:
5on 2off
Hours:
8am - 4pm
Salary:
£20,111 per annum
Duties:
- Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines, SOP's and Risk Assessments
- Ability to work with other contractors or maintenance workers
- To be resourceful, self-motivated and flexible
- To be physically strong and capable of working with machinery or moving heavy equipment
- To be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- To have good communication skills
- To have general knowledge of machinery, Bin Tug, Compactor, Bailer, Sweepers and other items used in waste collection and maintenance cleaning.
- Moving metal / plastic bins on to trailer and off a trailer.
- Clearing or cleaning general areas as directed by Supervisor / management
- Disassembling, moving & shifting furniture or equipment
- Emptying of residential bulk waste
- Driving of Tug (if in possession of full driving licence) you must inform the Development Manager if you have a full licence.
- Washing down the carparks and clearing away cobwebs and litter as directed by the supervisor or manager
- Jet washing down hard surfaces, carparks, main foot paths and podiums as direct by supervisor or manager
- Working in the compactor room on the bailer and compactor
- Removing rubbish by litter picking, emptying communal bins and wiping down surfaces
- Sweeping out the block bin rooms daily and ensuring the area is clean and tidy
- Washing down the block bin rooms once a week to ensure they are to a high standard
- Unblock bin chutes as and when directed
- Maintaining property exterior throughout different seasons. Including rock salt for icy or snowy conditions
This list is not exhaustive and you could be asked by your supervisors or managers to carry out other tasks.
