To be ideal for this role you will enjoy working inside and outside in the delightful but changeable English weather, be used to physically demanding work and have a desire to consistently provide a high standard of workmanship.

You must have good communication skills as you will be interacting with colleagues and residents face to face residents on a daily basis.

We are looking for someone with a background in hands‐on working, happy to take direction as well as providing advice to the Building Manager in accordance with their knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring their workmanship is of a high standard to ensure the development looks fantastic at all times. You will be a highly motivated individual, highly efficient and able to deal with issues that might arise professionally and promptly.

Skills/Competencies required:

• Be able to investigate leaks and diagnose the source of the water ingress (diagnosis may not be evident upon every investigation);
• Be fit and able to carry out the duties required by the role;
• Be able to plaster and paint to a very good standard;
• Carry out minor repairs to a very good standard;
• Has good knowledge of what materials are required;
• Has good knowledge and experience around pipework
• Is knowledgeable surrounding Health and Safety when conducted their duties;
• Has a good professional manner.
