Our client is currently seeking a Senior Property Manager to join their Block Management team in Birmingham!
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15pm
Flexibility to work 3 days per week from homeYour life as a Senior Property Manager
This job is as much about people as property and you'll put your heart and soul into making a difference for our clients and their tenants. As an experienced Property Manager, you will be responsible for our prestigious/complex schemes. With the support of other Property Managers and Property Assistants you'll be expected to make sure residents' issues are resolved.
What you'll do
* Make decisions that are in the best interests our of clients and our business
* Work collaboratively across the Estate Management and support function leads
* Meet leaseholders and clients regularly to maintain good relationships
* Prepare service charge budgets, review and report on expenditure and monitor arrears
* Provide other client and management reporting as requested
* Upsell on existing services e.g. various insurance, building consultancy services, and company secretariat
Who we're looking for
We want to find a people-focused, self-motivated and positive soul who has:
* At least 4 years' experience in a property management role involving Leasehold and Estate Management
* Financial awareness through the management of accounts/budgets/ arrears/ credit control procedures.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and a habit of staying up to date
* Experience of working as part of a successful team
* An MIRPM qualification
And, ideally, but not vitally:
* Proficient IT skills and experience of using property management software
* The ability to motivate other members of a team and inspire high performance
* Experience of managing site staff.
