Part-Time Server - Luxury Retirement Apartments, Stanmore HA7

We are looking for an experienced Server with a passion for good food and wine to join our client's Team here at a luxury retirement scheme in Stanmore. Working hours are:
Monday - Wednesday: 5pm - 9.30pm
Thursdays: 3pm-10.30pm
Saturdays: 11am - 10pm

Key Responsibilities:

What you'll do…

• Setting up and breaking down of the floor, service stations and BOH staging areas
• Setting up host/reception desk
• Meeting and greeting guests, finding appropriate seating, and accommodating requests
• Owning the quest experience within the restaurant, and creating those memorable moments for the guest
• Check reservations system for bookings and special requests

What we're looking for…

• 3 years' experience as a server
• Knowledge of EPOS , reservations and stock systems
• Strong knowledge of food, wine and beverage
• Barista skills
• Host/reception experience

Requirements for the role:

To succeed, you will need to be able to work seamlessly with a range of other departments as well as your colleagues, and communicate effectively with Homeowners, so teamwork and a fluent level of English are key, as is some experience of working in fine dining environment. This is a role that involves a lot of time on your feet and will involve carrying trays and pushing trollies.

Ideally you will also have:

• Excellent communication skills and a good level of spoken and written English.
• A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude and demeanour
• The ability and desire to provide exceptionally high levels of customer service to create exceptional experiences.
• Excellent grooming and presentation standards.
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
