Our client is a well established Lettings Agents who is actively seeking a Property Manager to join the team in their Head Office based in West London.
The purpose of a Property Manager is to be a vital point of contact for landlords and tenants within their assigned portfolio. This is a varied role in a fast paced environment and requires strong problem solving skills and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Duties:
- Efficiently managing a portfolio of 100-120 properties to ensure that the lettings process is stress free for our managed clients
- Offering organised and accurate daily administration
- Managing the booking and monitoring of contractors as they carry out works across the portfolio
- Transferring utilities at the start of a tenancy
- Arranging payment of outgoings including final utility bills and service charges
- Extensive quality control to ensure all necessary documentation is in place at the tenancy outset
- Sending out check in reports to landlords and tenants and resolving any discrepancies
- Registering the deposit
- Managing any change of occupancy process
- Managing the checkout process
- Advising and negotiating any deposit settlement or raising a dispute with the relevant deposit scheme
- Drawing up legal notice for any possession recovery of the property
Key Skills and Experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the lettings business
- Knowledge of all aspects of property management and the lettings process
- Attention to detail, processing volume accurately and to deadline
- The ability to build trust and nurture relationships
- Proven customer service skill
- Education beyond GCSE level
- Ability to prioritise workload and use initiative
- Excellent time management skills
