PMR are seeking an experienced, confident generalist maintenance engineer to perform maintenance works at a high-end development in Northwest London, ensuring high standards are maintained and the best possible experience is given to residents.
The desire to deliver outstanding customer service is vital to this role. You will be an ambassador of the brand on-site, creating a professional, welcoming environment for all who reside, visit, and work in the developments.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
- Perform routine and extensive preventative/reactive maintenance, and painting/decoration/general fixes of rooms and communal areas.
- Carry out in high standard repairs and maintenance to the building, its facilities, infrastructure, and equipment including plumbing, joinery, electrical, painting, tiling, resealing etc.
- Performing preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis
- Undertake fundamental Health & Safety checks as required, and maintain records accordingly
- Managing the building PPM
- To adhere to safety regulations, company policy, and company standards
- Daily/Weekly building check lists including all public areas and all plant rooms
- Weekly Fire alarm testing
- Cleaning and inspecting boiler/plant machinery
- Report all works to General Manager and Group Maintenance Manager
- Dealing with guest requests daily
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required
- Maintaining the landscape of the building if applicable
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance/Shift Engineer, preferably in a hotel/residential property
- Work using own initiative and proactive, ability to work under pressure
- Be able to provide great customer service
- Presentable appearance
- Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Keen attention to detail
- Good communication skill, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Live within a short commute of location
