The Build to Rent sector is growing rapidly and like many sectors right now, finding the right talent to support continued growth is difficult. In an aid to highlight pathways into the sector, our Head of Build to Rent James Housden, has been speaking with people who have successfully moved and started careers in the sector. James spoke with Becks Allen-Sandells on her year anniversary of joining Urbanbubble, a leading national operator of Build to Rent developments, as Mobilisation Manager. Becks talks about the transition from Purpose Built Student Accommodation to Build to Rent, and sheds light on the similar skill sets required in both sectors. “Running a building is fundamentally the same regardless of the type of resident.Managing your compliance activities and your day to day maintenance of the building is very similar, and delivering high customer service is the same.” PMR are supporting our clients in the Build to Rent sector to attract the relevant skill sets and customer service attitudes from sectors highlighted in James’s interview, so that they can continue to deliver excellent service to their residents.
