Job Description

On behalf of our client we are urgently seeking a Yardperson to work at private residential luxury apartment's development in Kew.

To support the Development site team in the day to day management of the development, including the inspection of communal areas and reporting faults to the line manager.

Min duties:

- To liaise with the Line Manager for the effective management of the estate ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and complete all works within the shift as laid down in the work pattern programme.
- Monitor and review daily works completed by refuge contractors and estate contractors, ensuring they are working as instructed to a high standard and all waste is removed.
- To carry out external site inspections and remove all litter as required. In accordance with the staff members issue work schedule
- Report any damage or defects to the Line Manger or Head Concierge and action as necessary and follow up on progress until completed.
- Ensure that schedule work programme is followed as issue by the line manager and/or conduct task which are instructed by the Line Manger, Development Manager & Head Concierge in his absence.
- Assist with stock checks and maintain stock level and report any low levels to re-order to the Line Manager
- To liaise with all contractors ensuring that they are permitted to operate on the site and have valid work passes to operate.
- Respond to incidents and act as appropriates to ensure and further injury or damage cannot occur within the development.
- Ensure the correct PPE is worm when operating in the Bin stores and inspect the PPE regularly and report any faults or damage to your line manager.
- Move bulk rubbish and refuge as requested either by hand, wheelie bin or trolley to ensure refuge chutes and areas are not congested.
- To be able to communicate to contractors, Site team and all residents when require, clearly and with accurate information
- Have a basic user level standard on IT system such as word & Outlook and be prepared to undertake training on job related systems.
- Have a full driving licence (Cat B) to operate site machinery.

All applicants must have good English communication skills as well as good basic health and safety knowledge, knowledge of COSHH and best use of cleaning materials. You must have a Cat B clean UK driving licence. Start as soon as possible.

Experience working in luxury residential apartments or 5* hotels would be desirable. The successful candidate must be able to provide excellent references and be willing to undergo full vetting checks.
