Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a part-time Night Concierge to work at a luxury residential apartment building in Canary Wharf. Hours of work are 19:30-07:30, working every Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Key responsibilities:

To ensure that the following duties are carried out effectively;


- Ensure that deliveries are taken and stored correctly. lf the situation allows (if the resident concerned confirms), please show delivery contractors to the appropriate flat.
- Monitor visitors to the development. No visitor should be permitted entry without.
obtaining authorisation from the resident concerned.


- To ensure access is provided for maintenance and other contractors engaged to carry out work within the building and facilities.

Security and Health & Safety

- Ensure that access to keys is given only to authorised people.

General Requirements

- Ensure that smart, dark, suitable shoes are worn at all times.
- Ensure that if a working uniform is provided it is worn at all times.
- Ensure that personal hygiene and appearance is kept to the highest standard, in keeping with the quality and requirements of the Development.
- Be courteous and act in a professional manner to all residents and visitors at all times. Any problems to be reported promptly to the Building Manager.
- Maintain the reception diary including all occurrences during your shift and ensure all problems encountered or discovered are fully detailed. In the event if a serious incident, ensure that the police and the Building Manager are informed without delay.
- Parking on site is at the discretion of Building Manager.
- Do not carry out private work for apartments during your shift hours.
- Do not allow any unauthorised persons behind the reception area.

Previous experience working in luxury residential buildings or 4/5* hotels would be desirable.

The successful candidates must be able to provide excellent references and be willing to undergo full vetting checks.
