PMR are a highly successful specialist recruitment company, working across the UK in providing property management staff.
Our Support team is based at our busy central London offices, 5 min from Oxford Circus tube.
This is a 6 month contract to provide maternity cover for our excellent HR Advisor. You would report to our Head of HR, who is a Chartered MCIPD, allowing you to gain significent professional experience in working with her.
Your duties will include a variety of generalist HR tasks, including:
-Managing the administrative process for all new joiners, the production of the new starter pack, issuing of contracts and pre-employment checks
-Setting up new starters on the Cascade system
-Assist with ensuring the firm is compliant with UKBA requirements - ie collating passport and visa records
-Processing employee reference requests whilst maintaining data accuracy and ensuring letters are precise and correct with the appropriate consent provided.
-Process DBS applications for our employees.
-Monitoring end of probation and extensions and alerting the appropriate personnel
-Co-ordinating appraisals and documentation, recording results in Cascade
-HR system management and report running
-Work with the HR Manager on employee relations cases as appropriate including note taking in formal meetings
-To help manage employee databases, updating employees' personal, job and pay data as and when required.
-To assist with the administration for leavers and contract terminations including notifying payroll.
-To assist with the maintenance of sickness records and the production of absence reports.
-To provide back up in training projects.
-Composing HR related letters
-Scanning and filing HR related documents
As part of your role you may be required to travel to our clients' sites both in the London area and further afield.
A minimum of 1 year's HR Administrative or Advisory experience
HR related qualification
