Job Description

Our client manages a number of residential sites and are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of building services, concierge and cleaning to two co-located developments based in Wembley.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have a background in building services.


In the role you will primarily be responsible for the Health and Safety of the residents, their visitors, contractors and your staff.

The other main duties are,

- Responsibility for the efficient management of contractors engaged in both maintenance and refurbishment
- Liaison with residents, landlords and co-located social housing management
- Supervision of concierge and housekeeping services and the in-house staff that assist you
- Liaison with your property manager
- Overall security of the developments
- Management of waste and recycling facilities
- Keeping efficient and accurate records on the sites' management

Person Specification

- You will be a pro-active and effective manager with previous similar experience.
- You must have excellent communication skills and remember that you are in a customer-facing role.
- Be smart and well-presented and an example to your staff
- Hold a HND/HNC, or similar qualification, in Building Services (eg HVAC/M&E, Electrical Installation)
- Ideally hold a Health & Safety qualification (eg NEBOSH or IOSH), or have previous experience in Health & Safety management
