Job Description

Our client is seeking a Day/Night Porter to work at a a high-end residential building based in West London.

The Porter will work a 4 on 4 off (day and night shift rotation: 7am-7pm or 7pm to 7am)

Main duties:
* Act as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in a Reception area as required
* Monitor access to building by residents and visitors
* Monitor the CCTV / Card entry system and fire alarm panels
* Oversee access to property for contractors, ensuring completion of works before they depart
* Respond to faults as discovered
* Implementing night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the property
* Report incidents and anti-social behaviour
* Keep communal areas clean and tidy, and to a high standard
* Log and secure all lost property
* Use the day diary as a Daily Occurrence book, logging records of events
* Address all residents courteously and in line with Company guidelines
* Allow pre-agreed contractors access to complete maintenance of the property
* Report repairs needed to the Building Manager by using appropriate systems
* Report issues with the lift to the Building Manager
* Assist the Building Manager with carrying out regular inspections to the property to ensure the property is in good order
* Deal with residents' queries or escalate to the Building Manager where appropriate
* Advise management promptly of any signs of problems or concerns about a resident
* Manage release and acceptance of keys in accordance with company procedures

Candidates with previous experience working in luxury apartments or 5* hotels would be desirable
