Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Day Doorman to join the team at a highly pretigious, new build residential development in the West End. Hours of work are 9am-9pm, working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

General Accountabilities:
- Ensure the Residential and Estate's activities are properly coordinated so as to ensure that expectations are exceeded.
- Be security conscious at all times and work closely with the night team.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with team members, onsite staff, residents, guests, and contractors, working collaboratively to achieve overall business outcomes.
- Take personal responsibility for understanding and following the company's Health & Safety policies and practices, demonstrating personal engagement with safety and proactively identifying risks and hazards (to immediate manager), and continuously improve safety performance.
- Work very closely with the Management on the implementation of SOP manuals, and delivery of policies and procedures.
- Support the Management with the implementation of work permits and the supervision of contractors while they are on site.
- Lead by example to set standards of quality customer service for the development, its residents and guests.

Role Specific Accountabilities:
- To be a main point of contact, be responsible for quality customer service for residents and guests, and handle day-to-day matters in a prompt and professional manner. Occasionally, and given the circumstances of the role, decision-making and problem-solving in the absence of supervision will be required.
- To carry out security inspections and operations as required.
- To assist with the required onsite duties and provide excellent Concierge services as prescribed by Management.
- To conduct the required health and safety inspections and activities as requested by the Management to assist in keeping the development and workplace a safe environment for all.
- To undertake light cleaning duties to ensure the front of house areas are impeccable at all times, or as instructed by the management.
- To positively participate in cross training initiatives as requested by the management with the aim of further developing skills and experience and being able assist other departments when required (ie.: covering a colleague while away or on break).

Previous experience working in high end residential buildings or 5* hotels is essential. Candidates must be able to provide excellent references and be willing to undergo full vetting checks.
