Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced concierge for a luxury residential development in Bayswater, West London.

Duties include:

  • Communication with leaseholders and managing agent - spoken and written English with good IT literacy. Able to communicate in person, over the phone and via email.

  • Courteous and polite to residents, guests, suppliers, tradesmen and the public in general.

  • Daily maintenance and cleaning of common parts including polishing of all brass fixtures (internal and


  • Daily rubbish collection from flats.

  • Utility meter reading and reporting to the managing agent.

  • Daily cleaning of external areas, street level and basement areas.

  • Keeping drains clear of debris and litter at all time.

  • Gardening duties and maintenance of in-house plants.

  • Monitor all persons at the property and ensure they have a right to be present.

  • Keep a daily log of activities on site, recording suppliers' visits and any non-recurring events.

  • Receive, log and distribute all mail, registered mail and deliveries.

  • Log and report any incidents of disrepair immediately to the Managing Agents, including all building

    defects, plumbing, heating and lighting defects during normal working hours. Where such defects are

    considered an emergency they should be reported immediately.

  • Ensure adequate inventory for fixtures and fittings. Use competency and common sense approach to

    handyman requirements.

  • Regular security patrols.

  • Report any Health & Safety issues and ensure a full safe working practice. H&S training and certifications.

  • Weekly fire alarm testing.

  • Handyman duties including communal lighting inspections of the building, and replace or report any

    defective bulbs, painting, fixing locks etc. and assisting residents.

  • Clear out any rubbish in the light-well area.

  • Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Managing Agent.
