Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Caretaker to be situated within a high-end luxurious residential scheme based in Bromley.

The role is part-time and you will be required to work 20 hours per week. Hours per day will vary, for example 20 hours may be spread over 3 days one week and 5 days the next.

The development is a gated complex, with communal gardens and made up of 22 houses.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- To provide all necessary services to the residents as per the instructions of senior management.
- To communicate efficiently with all other members of staff, the residents, guests and onsite contractors.
- Responsible for the welcoming residents, guests and contractors onto the complex.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of the development and common parts at all times.
- To respond proactively to resident requests. Always respond in a timely and polite manner.
- At all times you are to ensure the security of the building is not jeopardised in any way.
- You are to assist residents at all times together with their guests and visitors when and where required.
- Report and monitor Health & Safety issues and ensure a safe working practice is adhered to.
- Ensure that all spillages and rubbish is cleared away immediately and that all areas of the building are immaculate at all times.
- To take care of all grounds and gardens
- To maintain the upkeep of the scheme
- To be flexible and carry out any additional duties as directed

The role will require a lot of grounds maintenance, you will need to be active and with an eye for detail and with gardening skills/experience too.

Applicants with a horticulture background would be preferable but not desirable.
