Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Building Manager/Caretaker to oversee the day to day running of a luxury residential development in Battersea.

This is a Monday to Saturday position, working Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.

Duties

Whilst on duty you are responsible for monitoring the various security cameras around the building.
To react and to report any possible breaches of security, health and safety matters, fire matters and suspicious activity.
To be aware of movements by residents, changes in tenancy, signs of short term letting etc.
You are responsible for the security of the foyer doors and main entrance gates.
To undertake routine inspections of the communal areas plant rooms, to ensure such areas are kept safe, clean and tidy, reporting any defects to the managing agents as required.
On a regular basis patrol the car park to ensure only authorised cars are parked there and that all vehicles are displaying an appropriate parking permit. Visitor permits must be displayed by any cars in the car park on a temporary basis.
Empty bins in the underground car park
Check the common parts are free of all items and all escape routes are clear.
Ensure the office is tidy at all times.


Watering of the plants, or more often if necessary during warm weather
You are responsible for sweeping the private areas of the underground car park area and to jet or hose down where necessary the road and pedestrian paths.
You must keep the refuse area clean, tidy, and free of clutter. Disinfect the floors at least once per week.
Check all drains to ensure they are kept free of leaves and litter and free flowing.
At least once per week check the car park for licence discs on cars, and general parking.
Cleaning of all mirrors, wiping down of pictures etc.
Washing down of all exterior stairs to garage, to low rise flats etc
Wiping down railings, light fittings etc.
Wiping and polishing of all stainless steel illuminated exterior signage
