Job Description

Our client are currently looking for a Building Manager based in modern apartment building in Bow. This job is all about having a positive and friendly attitude and taking responsibility for the appearance of the common parts. The successful candidate will also be the initial point of contact for residents' enquiries .

Working hours:
Monday to Friday - 8am - 5:30pm - 1 hour lunch break

£24,000 per annum

Key responsibilities:
- Meet and greet residents, guests and visitors
- Answer enquiries by telephone or callers to the desk
- Assist residents, guests and visitors with individual requests
- Check and screen all visitors, guests and contractor staff, ensuring they have permission to be present in the building. Report any suspicious/unusual behaviour, calling the Managing Agents and or the police if necessary
- Report any security/H&S issues, incidents and complaints to the Managing Agents
- Investigate any system faults and report those to the Managing Agents
- Maintain up-to-date records of all residents currently residing at the development
- Awareness of the rules implemented by the Managing Agents and reporting and or recording back if residents and or their guests are not following them
- Receiving and safekeeping of all parcels/registered mail
- Notify residents of any deliveries to arrange collection from the front desk
- Issuing of keys only to correct personnel/residents whilst recording at all times the signing in and out of keys
- Ensure relevant preventative measures are undertaken in case of fire and emergency procedures
- Issuing of parking notices to all vehicles which are illegally parked in the development
- Monitoring of the fire alarm systems/ investigate activations while on duty if safe to do so
- Monitoring the entire development for security risks; this include using the CCTV equipment and walking the grounds if necessary
- Monitoring the cleaning of the site and overseeing the cleaners to ensure a good standard of presentation is preserved
- Keeping updated relevant H&S logs on site.

- Maintaining a smart appearance at all times, wearing uniform or a suit
- Ensuring high level of customer service

We are seeking candidates who have worked within the 4/5* hospitality sector and have luxury hotel or residential block experience.

Successful applicant must provide two references and will also undertake a disclosure check for unspent criminal convictions.
