Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a well experienced Building Manager to oversee the day to day management of a brand new luxury residential scheme in Central London. Working hours will be Monday to Friday from 08:00-16:30 and Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

The role would be ideally suited to a candidate with experience in new build block management looking for a professional yet upbeat working environment. The candidate must be very customer service focused and able to inspire a team with a "hands on" approach to leadership whilst maintaining high standards. Excellent communication and forging good relationships with residents and all other interested parties is essential.

The role will include:

Oversight and day-to-day management of:

- The branded environment and agreed service levels.
- Concierge, cleaners, maintenance and full time staff.
- Traditional front of house estate management issues.
- Daily common parts inspections.
- Common parts cleaning.
- Waste management.
- Car park management.
- M&E management- liaison with 3rd part contracted soft and hard service providers.
- Landscaping maintenance.
- Building maintenance.
- Block security- to include key fob and CCTV management.
- Health and Safety compliance.
- Incoming delivery management.
- Insurance claims.
- Regularly updating information to the central estate web portal.
- Inspections of vacant residential units until occupation.
- Management of the incoming and outgoing residential tenants.

Ideally the candidate will have at least five years of building management experience in either residential or commercial buildings. Training will be given where necessary but fluent spoken and written English and IT skills are imperative. Knowledge of property management systems would be useful, as would IOSH managing safely, first aid and a working knowledge of basic residential property law.
