Our client is looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to work at their luxury residential block based in Croydon.
They are looking for a hardworking, proactive, professional, and reliable candidate to support the Estate Manager in the day to day management of the block. This will incude hard and soft services facilities management. You MUST have Mechanical and Engineering knowledge to be able to manage planned and reactive maintenance of the development's plant, equipment effectively as well as manage its contractors whilst also managing health and safety. It would be an advantage to be qualified to BIFM standard and have a NEBOSH qualification.
Previous experience of managing a large team of staff and a good working knowledge of residential property management would be desirable however good Commercial experience would be considered. The role will also be a client facing role so excellent presentation, communication, IT and interpersonal skills are a must! On top of this excellent contract management and record keeping skills. The successful candidate must have leadership qualities, have a hands on approach, be versatile, with good M&E and be able to oversee PPMs and the management of Health and Safety in the workplace.
