Hemel Hempstead-based Trinity Estates has beefed up its portfolio after joining forces with one of Sheffield's largest property management businesses.
The acquisition of The McDonald Partnership will add a further 4,500 units to Trinity's 45,000 unit portfolio.
The McDonald Partnership manages schemes in and around Sheffield, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The group said its operational capabilities will be strengthened by utilising the head office support of Trinity's legal, accounting and surveying teams.
Simon McDonald and Michelle Heath, both senior partners at The McDonald Partnership, will continue to lead all field-based management.
Trinity managing director Jonathan Smith said: "The combined experience, knowledge and expertise make this an attractive proposition for both businesses and everyone concerned - especially the client base and residents.
"Our move to expand with The McDonald Partnership is another great milestone for Trinity Estates and is testimony of the hard work of everyone in the team."
